Affordable Hand Prints

Jill White was Max’s studio manager and photographer for 25 years until he died in 1992. She learnt photography and printing techniques from him over those years, and when she inherited all of his exhibition archive, she focused the rest of her working life on producing his work as he would’ve printed it. This included producing three books of Max’s work as well as 25 exhibitions.

As a result of these exhibitions and book productions, a significant number of hand prints were produced and stored. Along the way fine art digital prints were produced on more dense paper and these are part of the offering. These prints were stored at the time and have only recently been catalogued and inspected for their quality. All have lasted the passage of time and we are now offering these high quality hand prints to the public, especially to admirers of Max’s work over his six decade career.

The prints come in a variety of sizes which I have categorised into four or five size options: Less than 25cm, 25-30cm, 31-39cm and 40-50cm. Enquire about the exact size. Some prints may have slightly soft edges or a slight crease in the white margin but these imperfections would be covered in the framing process. Some prints may have very slight unevenness in small areas of image but only if you view up close. The discounted prices reflect any imperfections. Many of the prints are one-off hand prints, so if you like an image and the discounted price, then make an enquiry as soon as possible. All prints offered until we run out of stock.
